Heavy rain fall in Junagadh and south Gujarat

After heavy rain fall predication by weather agency in Valsad, Surat and Navsari. Also, Saurashtra and south Gujarat is forecasted to get heavy rain.

Gujarat CM has alerted the state administration for disaster management and rescue operations.

It is constantly raining for 8 days in Valsad. In last 24 hours, 1 inch in Valsad, 4 inch in Dharampur, 2 inch in Kaprada, 4.32 inch in Pardi and 3.22 inch in Umargam was recorded.

In Dang, in last 12 hours Ahwa received 5 mm, Vadhai 46 mm, Subir 10 mm and Saputara 36 mm of rain.

Surat remained cloudy throughout the day. Water level in Ukai dam reached 291.87 feet, with an inflow of 41,210 cusec and outflow of 600 cusec. In last 24 hours in Surat, Bardoli 76 mm, Choryashi 10 mm, Kamrej 12 mm, Palsana 7 mm, Mandvi 15 mm, Mahuva 7 mm, Mangrol 70 mm, Umarpada 14 mm and Surat city received 8 mm of rain.

Gir Somnath continues to rain, water level in Hiren dam reached 70.28 meter and Shinghoda dam is 136.68 meter. In last 12 hours, Veraval received 48 mm, Sutrapada received 82 mm, Talala received 141 mm, Kodinar received 225 mm, Una 153 mm and Gir Gadhda received 119 mm of rain.
