Today Yellow alert was declared in Ahmedabad. Heatwave is predicted in next 5 days in Gujarat, Saurashtra and Kutch.
Red Alert will be sounded by agencies , if the temperature exceeds 45 degree celsius. In case of 43.3 to 44.9 degree celsius temperature Orange Alert will be sounded and in case of 41 to 43.3 degree celsius temperature White Alert will be sounded.
Health department has been alerted and people are appealed not to move out under hot sun, without proper protection and take care of symtoms of sun stroke an heatwave.
