Today Harsh Sanghavi Minister of State for Home Affairs has ordered the police officers to listen to issues of common men on every Monday and Tuesday. An arrangement will be made so that most of problems of common men can be solved at local level.
Under guidance of Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi has ordered police officers who are heads of all the police stations of Gujarat state to be available in the office, every Monday and Tuesday to listen to issues of common men. Not only this, the police officers who are head of the office have also been instructed not to organize any meetings or other programs during these two days, except unavoidable circumstances.
This decision by HM will now create a system where most of the problems of common men will be solved at local level. For this, it has been suggested to DGP Director General of Police and Chief Police Officer to give strict instructions to all the police officers. With an aim that common men from remote villages or remote areas of the state will no longer have to come all the way to Gandhinagar for their representations and their problems, will be resolved at local level only.
This decision has been taken by which all the police officers who are Incharge of the office will have to allot fixed time for applicants visiting every Monday and Tuesday. In addition, if the officers are not busy in meetings or other programs, in public interest will be facilitate that common men can meet in the office throughout the day.
The Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi has given instructions to DGP Gujarat to implement this decision with immediate effect.
