Hardik Patel moves SC challenging Gujarat HC order rejecting to stay his conviction in rioting case

Today Patidar leader and Congress member Hardik Patel moved Supreme Court challenging the Gujarat High Court order rejecting his plea to stay his conviction in the 2015 Vispur rioting case.  Urgent hearing on the plea would be held on Tuesday and his lawyers would seek stay of the March 29 order of Gujarat High Court which is refraining him contesting Lok Sabha elections 2019.
