The issue of Rs 4200 Grade Pay of the long-pending agitating primary teachers in Gujarat has been resolved. The issue has come a happy end after a meeting between Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel , Education Minister and Teachers’ Association. Primary teachers in Gujarat will now get benefit of Rs 4200 Grade Pay. More than 65,000 Primary Teachers out of total 1,90,000 teachers will be benefited with Gujarat government’s big announcement today.
Yesterday a meeting led by Gujarat chief minister Vijay Rupani was held in this regard on issue of benefit to teachers added Dy CM Patel during media briefing.
All the administrative process for this will be completed within a week. After a long struggle by teachers in Gujarat a favorable decision has come for Primary Teachers.
