Gujarati boy Jasprit Bumrah, 22-year-old, has a reason to be happy to get maiden call-up for India. Jasprit to join the Indian team Down Under for the three-match T20 series after he was named replacement for injured pacer Mohammad Shami on Monday.
Bumrah appreciates IPL and Mumbai Indians for his success in the shortest format of the game. “I got recognition through the IPL and my Mumbai Indians team seniors showed me the way forward. Lasith Malinga and Sachin Tendulkar helped me learn various aspects of the game,” he said. On current performance of Indian team against Australia, he said every team passes through up and down.
