Today, 6th April is marked as Foundation Day of Bharatiya Janta Party, BJP. To celebrate and commemorate BJP’s Foundation Day in a newer and unique way a human flag in 1 lakh square feet area was in Dahod, Gujarat by 25,000 BJP workers who assembled in Dahod for Foundation Day event from 1,407 booths and 650 villages. It was the biggest formal gatheringof party in recent years in non-election season in tribal area of Gujarat. Previously, Dahod had organized a 21 day long bike rally during membership drive which passed from 450 villages.
33% part of human flag was created by party’s women workers who were in green sarees. Saffron part of BJP’s flag was created by party workers in Saffron T Shirts and Caps. 400×250 ft flag’ white part was created by Dahod city and taluka workers, while BJYM workers created Black border by wearing Black T Shirts and Caps.
Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel conducted Panchnishtha oath on the occasion and addressed partymen.
