Gujarat Chief Minister has credited ‘Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit’ held in the state for two consecutive decades and ‘Industry Friendly’ policies of Gujarat under guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making Gujarat the ‘Most Preferred Investment Destination’ for businessmen from all over the world. Terming the event as the beginning of India’s self-reliance in the field of semiconductors, speaking on the occasion Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said that this unit of Micron Company will be a milestone in making Gujarat a Micro chip and Semiconductor manufacturing hub.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar Union Minister of Electronics & Technology was in Sanand of Ahmedabad district today to attend the inauguration ceremony of Micron’s New Semiconductor Assembly and Test Facility. Minister said it is India’s First Homegrown Chip.
