Today, senior Police officials of Gujarat including DGP PC Thakur with his team visited Bharuch and took spot of assessment of double murder mystery on Sevashram road on Monday. Former district BJP leader Shirish Bangali and district Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha(BJYM) general secretary Pragnesh Mistry were sitting at Bangali’s printing press on busy Sevashram road when two persons on bike whose face were covered came there with gun and killed Bangali and Mistry. Bangali was declared dead when taken to hospital, Mistry died after brief treatment in the hospital. After postmorterm by a panel of doctors, they both were cremated in the afternoon in presence of senior state and district BJP leaders.
Gujarat’s top officials held meeting with a team of police officers and tried to get clue on the incident.The state police has moved Anti Terrorist Squad(ATS) team led by ATS SP from Ahmedabad to investigate the case which is being probed by Local Crime Branch in Bharuch under supervision of Range DIG Anupamsinh Gehlot and SP Shobha Bhutda.
