Tomorrow in Mehsana, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu will participate in the Vikas Parv Sammelan of the ruling BJP to celebrate the successful completion of 2 years of its rule at center and in Gujarat and lay foundation stones of 8 Gujarat oriented rail projects during a function organized at Mahesana railway station. BJP state general secertary said that party’s national general secretary Ram Madhav is likely participate in the Vikas Sammelan parv function at the party distrcit office there and would address an event in the municipal ground later along with Mr. Prabhu and others including state BJP president Vijay Rupani. In the event organized at the railway station, Mr Prabhu would lay foundation stones of 8 projects including the doubling of Rajkot-Surendranagar rail line, third line between Vatva and Ahmedabad, new lines between Somnath and Kodinar and Modasa and Shamlaji and three pertaining to the change of track guage and one of change of track guage along with electification. According to a Western Railway release Veteran BJP leader and Gandhinagar MP L K Advani and Ahmedabad East MP Paresh Raval along with minister of state for Agriculture Mohanbhai Kundaria are also expected to remain present on the occasion.
