Pakistan has shared a specific IB Intelligence Bureau input with India related to possible terror strikes by Lashkar-E-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammed’s suicide bombers. Pakistan’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua has shared an intelligence input with Ajit Doval that 10 terrorists had entered Gujarat to carry out strikes in India.
As a result of IB input about alert in Gujarat, security of Narmada Dam has been increased. The dam is a popular sightseeing spot in Gujarat and India.
Under supervision of Narmada district police a force of 300 CRP personnel has been deployed at dam site and visitors are given entry only after thorough checking of ID proof and proper entry permission.
Gujarat Home Ministry has cancelled leave of all police personnel in the state to meet any kind of exigency.
