Gujarat Home Min: No to rely on baseless rumors of child trafficking
After viral messages and rumours in a few city of Gujarat, today state home minister Pradipsinh Jadeja held a press conference.
Jadeja said Viral messages of child trafficking gangs are fake. No such team has come to Gujarat, all these rumors are baseless. Do not forward such messages and inform police about the same”.
State Home Minister advised people not to believe and forward such baseless rumors if they received them through social media. Recipient of such messages should contact local police over 100 number.
One Anti rumor cell, a special juvenile unit and friends of women and child group at police station are alerted. It is our responsibility to maintain law and order in the state.
It is learnt that some messages with photo of Pakistan are also spread.
Responsible people will be dealt with strictly by police added minister Jadeja.
Some elements are trying to create atmosphere of chaos and anarchy.
