Today in Ahmedabad, matter of deposting Samarjit Gaekwad as a President of BCA Baroda Cricket Association has reached Gujarat High Court. Chirayu Amin and his supporters has filed a petition in HC.Amin challenged the decision of continuing Gaekwad as BCA President by Charity Commissioner. As per Supreme Court’s decision of yesterday Gaekwad and Jayesh Patel acnnot hold the post due to their age limit. Appeallent also stated that Geakwad for past 9 years was close to BCCI President, hence he cannot be in the post. HC has maintained status quo in the matter. next hearing will be held on January 10.
