Gujarat High Court has issued order restricting collection of parking charge from vehicles owners coming to malls and multiplexes. Earlier, a single judge bench had given ruling to collect nominal parking charge of Rs 10 on two wheeler and Rs 20 on four wheeler. State government issued notification to refrain from collecting parking charge to owner of malls and multiplexes.
Challenging the verdict, owner of malls and multiplexes had moved high court.
HC warned of stern action against malls and multiplexes without adequate parking facilities and took a firm stand on it.
Next hearing on the appeal would be made on 30th November.
