Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel organized the ‘Dialogue on Health Diplomacy’ program organized by Department of Health and Family Welfare of State Government and Indian Institute of Public Health, Gandhinagar (IIPHG) under support of the Policy Planning and Research Division of MEA Ministry of External Affairs of India. In the function took place in presence of representatives of India, health experts and other dignitaries.
State Chief Minister said that under able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there has been an unprecedented development in the health sector in India. Highlighting achievements of Gujarat’s health sector, he said that in the Sustainable Development Goals of Niti Aayog, a think tank of the Government of India, Gujarat has been ranked first in the category of ‘Good Health and Well-being’ for 2 consecutive years and with basic facilities in the health sector, Gujarat has emerged as a Medical Tourism Hub today. Minister Patel added that the deliberations to be held in this program will be the best in India to solve all challenges related to medical and health affiliated services at the global level. He expressed confidence that it will be a medium to present practices to the world.
