Ganesh festival is approaching in September, preparations to welcome Lord Ganesh is in full swing. In an initiative by Gujarat government, to promote Eco Friendly Ganesh Idols in Gujarat. Government has announced Training to 1000 Statue Makers from Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot and Vadodara, free Tool Kits to them, good remunaration and free stalls of Ganesh Idols as a gesture for promotion of Eco Friendly Idols. Govt permits Eco Friendly Idol upto 9 feet height. It is a pilot project by Gujarat govt.
