Gujarat government takes an important step under direction of Chief Minister Vijay Rupani towards Paperless Governance, e-Governance.
All the ordinary and extraordinary gazettes of the State Government will now be available online on the website in the form of Digital-E Gazette.

Chief Minister Rupani has launched the website egazette.gujarat.gov.in in Gandhinagar

The traditional process of gazette printing that has been going on for years will now come to an end. This will result in an average annual saving of 35 MT of paper.
Any person or organization will be able to download the gazette for free through the website.
QR code has been implemented for the authenticity of such downloaded copy of e-Gazette.
Immediate availability of the Gazette on website will increase efficiency in administration
Maintenance of manual records of Gazette will now be exempted. The Chief Minister had directed the department to make available the 30-years-old gazette available on the website within a month as soon as possible.
Accordingly old gazette will also be made available on the website gradually so that it will also be easily available on the website.
Citizens, applicants, government offices will be relieved of the problem of getting copies of old gazettes published earlier.
All information can be provided as a single-centralized website for gazettes of all departments of the State Government. Minister Jayesh Radadia, Cottage Industries Secretary Sandeep Kumar, GIL Managing Director Gusia, Director of Government Printing and Stationery Rathod and Deputy Secretary of the Department were present on the occasion.
