Gujarat government gave legilative permission to prepare a new 10-years Recruitment Calendar : Spokesperson Gujarat Minister Rushikesh Patel
Recruitment calendar for the year 2024 to 2033 will be prepared from period 2014 to 2023 against a total 1,56,417 posts to be filled 1,67,255 posts through direct recruitment. The decision regarding preparation of Recruitment Calendar for the recruitment process of various departments of state government was taken in the cabinet meeting chaired by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel informed spokesman Rushikesh Patel.
Since Recruitment Calendar published earlier in year 2014 was completed in December-2023, approval has been given in principle to prepare Recruitment Calendar for filling up vacancies in administrative departments from next year 2024 to 2033. Under this program, meetings in phased manner will be organized with Additional Chief Secretary, General Administration Department, Additional Chief Secretary, Finance Department and Secretary, Expenditure level with all administrative departments to prepare a new 10-years Recruitment Calendar.
Meetings will be held during months of June, July and August to prepare and publish the Recruitment Calendar for each administrative department. It may be noted here that state government had planned to fill up 1,56,417 posts between 2014 and 2023. In contrast to this, currently 1,67,255 posts have been filled by direct recruitment.
