Today Department of Science & Technology, Government of Gujarat, signed a significant MoU Memorandum of Understanding with Jabil, an electronics manufacturing company. With this agreement, Jabil, a world leader in engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain solutions, propose to invest Rs 1,000s crore in establishing an Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) unit at Dholera Special Investment Region (DSIR).
This new unit will foster collaboration between Jabil and the Gujarat government, aiming on sectors such as networking, capital goods, and automotive. Signed in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, MoU assures Jabil to expanding its operations by 2027, creating approximately 5,000 job opportunities.
