Amid covid-19 pandemic in India and Gujarat, it is a crucial decision for Gujarat government to relax Covid-19 creteria during upcoming Navratri festival where thousands of lakhs of youth across Gujarat and India play Garba for 9 nights.
Navratri is now the biggest festival for Gujaratis and Gujarat. The big question was whether Garba would be held amid Coronavirus crisis. On this, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel has made a big announcement on behalf of Gujarat government. He said that the state government is ready to give relaxation in Navratri, if required. As per the guidelines of Supreme Court, state government will consider for how long a waiver can be given in Navratri festival as it is now the biggest festival for Gujaratis. Deputy Chief Minister Patel said that starting schools is not clear yet. The state government has not given any thought in this regard. Still government is thinking of planning Navratri.and discuss are going on for it.
