Gujarat government has implemented a new scheme called Gyan Sadhana scholarship scheme for students of class 9 to 12 studying in government schools. Under this scheme, students of class 9 to 12 studying in government schools will get a free scholarship of up to 25,000 per annum. However, there are some conditions for it.
The state government has also issued a circular in this regard. Students Eligibility and Scholarship (Gyan Sadhana scheme)
Students of class 9 to 12 who study from 1 to 8 consecutively in government schools will get the scholarship. They will get ₹ 20,000 per annum during studies from standard 9 to 10 then 25000 per annum scholarship will be given during studies from standard 11 to 12. Scholarship Amount will be directly deposited into the bank account through DBT.
Eligibility condition for the scholarship
To get this scholarship, students should have studied from class 1 to 8 consecutively in government schools or government grant-aided schools.
HOW TO GET THE SCHOLARSHIP
An exam will be conducted to grant scholarship and the scholarship will be awarded based on the merits. Circular issued by the state government in this regard in which information regarding the scholarship has been given.
25,000 new bright students will get scholarship every year . 25,000 new bright students will be selected every year and they will be awarded Rs. 20,000 during studies from class 9 to 10 and Rs. 25,000 scholarship will be given during studies from standard 11 to 12.
