Gujarat forecast for heavy rain for next 3 hours by IMD

Today in Gujarat there is forecast for heavy rain for next 3 hours  till 4 pm. IMD India Meteorological Department forecast has been mde for next 3 hours. Red alert for heavy rain sounded in Bhavnagar Banaskantha, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, also Orange alert given  in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad , Gir Somanath, Amreli, Botad Bharuch, Surat, and Narmada districts.

Heavy rain may fall in Valsad, Navsari, Dang. In Gujarat, Heavy to very heavy rain forecast in the state due to active system in  Bay of Bengal (Gujarat Forecast) has been done. For the next 3 hours, IMD  has issued a red alert for very heavy rain in Bhavnagar, while heavy rain has been predicted in other districts.

The impact of the system originating in Bay of Bengal in Maharashtra and South Gujarat is being felt in states including Maharashtra. It rained very heavily in various parts of Maharashtra on Wednesday, so even today red alert has been announced in cities including Mumbai, Pune.It is raining heavily since morning. In Gujarat also, especially in south and central Gujarat, it rained very heavily with strong winds.

In Vadodara late on Wednesday night, strong wind blew at a speed of 110 km and the city was flooded due to heavy rain. In Ahmedabad city also on Wednesday evening there were rain showers with heavy wind in various areas. Meteorological department has declared a red alert of heavy rain in Bhavnagar. In the nowcast till the next 4 pm, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for heavy rain in Bhavnagar.
