VIDEO OF CM ANANDIBEN OPENS SARDAR PATEL REVENUE APPEAL & REVISON BHAVAN IN AHMEDABAD
Today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel asked Revenue Department to adopt a compassionate and humane approach towards the problems of common man and farmers.
Speaking on the occasion a function to mark the inauguration of the Sardar Vallabbhai Patel Revenue Appeal and Revision Bhavan, with 20 rooms over 10,153 sq meter area and built at a cost of Rs.6.12 crores. CM listed steps government has taken up to simplify the revenue rules to deliver justice to a common man.
The building has been named after Sardar Patel, who firmly fought against injustice to the farmers during British rule, Anandiben said, revenue staff would stand up to the legacy of the Sardar. She said that attention should be paid to reduce the pending revenue cases to zero. She said campaign to regularize particularly inheritance cases has resulted in accumulation of lakhs of pending cases. Pradeepsinh Jadeja, Law Minister called for fast, simple and transparent justice system to settle revenue cases, with a view to quick processing of cases to Chief Minister’s speedy justice move.
Present on the occasion at function included Minister of State for Health Shanker Chaudhry, who is also Ahmedabad’s In-Charge Minister, Ahmedabad Mayor Meenaxiben Patel, AUDA Chairman Dharmendra Shah and MLA Rakesh Shah, among others.
