Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel was delighted to inaugurate 3-storey ‘Bandhutva Smarak’ in Ahmedabad to honour brotherhood between Vasant – Rajab. Followers of Mahatma Gandhi – Vasant Rao & Rajab Ali sacrificed their lives propagating communal harmony during turbulent times in 1946. Through this memorial at the historic watch tower of Gaekwad Haveli, heroism of Vasant-Rajab will be forever etched in the memory of people.
CM said I congratulate Gujarat Police for undertaking ‘Bandhutva Smarak’-a testimony to communal harmony and national integrity under ‘Suraksha Setu’ project.
