Today in Ahmedabad, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel inaugurated
Summer Camp 2015, organized under ‘Khele Gujarat’ a sports initiative by Gujarat government, at Gujarat University Convention Center, Ahmedabad. Gujarat Sports Minister and other Ministers, Mayor of
Ahmedabad,Meenakshiben Patel MLAs & MPs and top government officials attended the inaugural function to motivate the participating players. The entire program was coordinated by the players themselves and the dignitarieswere welcomed by presenting them “Sports Food Kit”. The players also staged various performances through sports such as Yogas, Jump Rope and Fencing.
Chief Minister also released two books published by Swarnim Gujarat Sports University – “Khele Gujarat” and “Vyayam Setu”. In addition to launching of a “Mobile Human Performance Lab” at the occasion. This mobile lab, designed and developed by Swarnim Gujarat Sports University, is first-of-its-kind in the nation and will be used to test the physical capacity of various players taking part in the 13 state level summer camps.
