Following in the footsteps of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also auction gifts received by him and money will be given for education of girl of class 4 employees working in the secretariat department. The Chief Minister has instructed officials to survey gifts of received. An important decision has been taken by Chief Minister Patel, the gifts they received will be auctioned now. Money collected through the auction will be used for girl’s education. It is important that the then Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi started this tradition. Even when Prime Minister Modi was Chief Minister of Gujarat, gifts received by him were auctioned and money received was used for public welfare. A similar decision was also taken by former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani. An auction was organized along with a display of items gifted to former state Chief Minister Vijay Rupani during his tenure.
