Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel had a telephonic conversation with the Collectors of Valsad, Tapi, Navsari, Surat, Narmada and Panchmahal districts of South Gujarat which were affected by heavy rains in last 24 hours and took stock of the entire situation.
Chief Minister Patel gave instructions regarding evacuation of people from low-lying areas to safe places in all these districts along with arrangement for safety of livestock and also assured help of SDRF-NDRF team if required.
Also, State Emergency Operation Center SEOC weather watch group meeting was held in Gandhinagar.
