Today eight MOU Memorandums of Understandings were signed during the inaugural ceremony of Gujarat Semiconnect Conference conference in the presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

Welcoming all the dignitaries to Gujarat, Chief Minister said that Gujarat is at the forefront of realizing the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make India an important partner in the global demand-supply chain of semiconductors. He mentioned in detail the work of Gujarat government in future-oriented sectors like AI, Machine Learning along with the construction of various state-of-the-art facilities related to the semiconductor sector in entire Gujarat including Dholera.

Describing Gujarat, a global hub in various sectors, as the center of India’s high-tech manufacturing revolution and establishing the state at the forefront of the global semiconductor value chain, CM expressed confidence that the brainstorming session at this conference will give new dimensions to India’s semiconductor sector, describing it as a land of opportunities and a gateway to the future for new emerging sectors.
