Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel while congratulating Indian Thal Sena Day said that today India is experiencing peace and security due to the zero tolerance policy adopted under the leadership of Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Giving information about the Raksha Shakti Schools operating in Gujarat, CM Patel added that training programs provided for the security sector right from the school level will pave way for the youth to make their career in the armed forces and security sector.
Bhupendra Patel today performed ground breaking ceremony and dedicated Rs. 481.32 crores worth development works at RRU Rashtriya Raksha University by launching four new projects. Chief Minister dedicated Atal Incubation Centre at the university for innovation and incubation projects in the domain of national security and policing. He also launched National IED (Improvised Explosive Device) Data Management system. This system will make real time data sharing, data analysis and data collection easier for National Bomb Data Centre. He launched two books named Shakti Dhvani and Gujarat Police’s history.
Speaking on the occasion, CM said that there are five Raksha schools functional in the State for training to school children right from the childhood regarding defense and police. Five more such schools are to be started next, he added. He said, such Rashtriya Raksha Schools, linked to RRU will be started in other parts of the country as well.
