VIDEO OF GUJARAT CM ANANDIBEN MEETS AMBASSADOR OF ISRAEL

Today, Israel Ambassador Alon Ushpiz and Ambassador of Thailand HE Chalit Manityaku paid courtesy visit to Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel in Delhi.
Anandiben appreciated both the envoys for affable diplomatic ties between India and Israel and India and Thailand. Gujarat Industries Minister Saurabh Patel also participated in the meeting.
While stating that Gujarat is a self-sufficient state in the energy sector and a manufacturing hub, Chief Minister discussed possibilities of partnering with both Thailand and Israel and scaling new avenues in investment in different sectors. During the meeting, discussion was also held on special subjects like animal husbandry, efficient usage of water, improving the yield in vegetables, etc.
She also extended invitation to representatives of Israeli and Thai government and industrialists to attend Vibrant Gujarat Summit being held in January 2015.
Both the Ambassadors lauded efforts of the state government in energy sector especially in solar energy and expressed confidence in improving ties between India and Israel and India and Thailand in coming times.
After the meeting with Israel Ambassador, Gujarat Minister Saurabh Patel stated that the scientists of Gujarat University would be sent to Israel to study the best practices of agriculture.
