Inspired and elated by the remarkable achievements of 139 % in the targets sets under the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Targets – 100 Days’ programme declared by Gujarat Chief Minister Mrs. Anandiben Patel for fulfilling the dream of “the Gujarat as Prosperous State” when she assumed the office, today she announced the expansion of scope of works for the programme with inclusion of another 18 different subjects, covering 111 points for next 150 days.
The new set targets should be achieved by March 31, 2015, the Chief Minister today announced declaring the work-agendas for the ‘Vibrant Gujarat’ targets in Gandhinagar in a video conferencing held with district administrations across the Gujarat. Others who had attended the video conference included Gujarat’s Council of Ministers, Senior Secretaries and other officials.
Mrs. Patel congratulated the “Team Gujarat” for achieving the 139% results for the targets sets under the ‘Vibrant Gujarat Target -100 Days’ programme. Expressing her determination to set these work-agendas as the undivided part of the state administration system forever, Mrs. Patel emphasized that the government’s system should develop a natural work culture to achieve these set targets.
Speaking on the occasion, describing the outline of the expanded scope of the programme, Gujarat Health Minister Mr. Nitinbhai Patel and Finance Minister Mr. Saurabhbhai Patel said, the implementations of the Swavlamban Abhiyaan, Swasth Gujarat, E-governance, Urban Mission, Expansion of Irrigation Zones, Sports Development, Creatiojn of Markets for Handicrafts and handlooms, rural development through agriculture, and rights for public services have been added as the Main Themes to be achieved by March 31, 2015.
The Government with cooperation from Team Gujarat with its dedication to serve the citizens of Gujarat would achieve 100% targets in all 111 activities in the current plan of the ‘Gujarat Model’. And district and taluka level administrations would act in “Mission Mode”, the duo added. The 18 Main Subjects (Themes) announced by the Chief Minister are: Swavlamban Abhiyaan, Women Empowerment, Nutritive Gujarat, Healthy Gujarat, Mahatma Gandhi Swachhta Abhiyaan – Bharat Swachhat Abhiyaan, Strengthening Public Service System, E-Governance, Infrastructural Facilities under Urban Mission, Rurban Mission, Strengthening Education System, Skill Development, Employment Generation, Suraksha Setu, Expansion of Irrigation Zones, Sports Development, Creation of Markets for Handicrafts and Handlooms, Rural Development through Agriculture, and Rights for Public Services.
