Today from 15th March in Gujarat including centers Ahmedabad, Rajkot,Gondal, Morbi and Surat board exams for SSC and HSC, class 10 and 12 have started for the academic year 2016-17 amid tight security. Total 17.59 lakhs students to appear in the exams. For success of students in exams, they were offered sweets at examination center.
Examination centers have been equipped with Tablet and CCTV installations.
Kantibhai Patel, ex president of Surat Olpad taluka will appear for SSC exams.
This year 178, prisoners will also appear for board exams.
