With announcement of election schedule by State Elecetion Commission, a four day long crucial meeting was held in Bharatiya Janta Party’s Ahmedabad office in Khanpur area.
BJP spokesman said that for selection of candidates of swaraj polls for Nagar Palika and district/taluk panchayat, meeting ob party observers and office bearers will be held.
Process for selection of candidates for 15 wards is over, whereas process for 48 wards will be done. This time, new faces will introduced due to Patidar factor and prefered over existing corporators.
