Gujarat Assembly Election 2017 : AAP releases list of 9 candidates

Today AAP Aam Aadmi Party has declared a list of candidates for 9 Assembly constituencies for Gujarat Assembly Elections 2017.

AAP had earlier list of candidates on 11 seats. AAP has totally declared candidates for 20 seats out of the total 182 Gujarat.

As per the list, the AAP has decided to contest from Gandhinagar (North), Botad, Katargam, Rajkot (East), Surat (East), Karanj, Palanpur, Gandhidham and Jamnagar Rural), party spokesperson Harshil Nayak said.

Three of these seats — Rajkot (East), Palanpur, and Jamnagar (Rural) — are currently being held by Congress MLAs, while the remaining 6 are with the BJP.

The candidates finalised to contest from these seats are Gunvant Patel (Gandhinagar-North), Jilubhai Bavaliya (Botad), Nagajibhai Ambaliya (Katargam), Ajit Lokhil (Rajkot-East), Salim Multani (Surat-East), Jignesh Mehta (Karanj), Ramesh Nabhani (Palanpur), Govind Danicha (Gandhidham) and Paresh Bhanderi (Jamnagar-Rural).

Gujarat Assembly Election 2017: Congress list of candidates on 16th November

Today morning in Delhi, a Screening Committee meeting of AICC high command was held.

The meeting was chaired by AICC President Sonia Gandhi, vice president Rahul Gandhi, RS MP Ahmed Patel and from Gujarat Congress Ashok GehlotBharatsinh Solanki and Mohansinh Rathva.

After AICC meeting Bharat Sinh Solanki, President, Gujarat Congress said we will announce first list of candidates for 70 seats of Gujarat Assembly Elections on 16th November.
