Under chairmanship of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, a Pre-Event was organized today in Mumbai in presence of filmmakers, actors and leaders associated with the film Industry to prepare for the upcoming 69th Filmfare Awards in Gujarat. From Gujarat state Chief Minister was accompanied by Tourism Minister Mulu Bera and Industry Minister Jagdish Panchal and Balvantsinh Rajput at the event.
The Chief Minister Invited celebrities of film industry to take advantage of Gujarat’s Cinematic Tourism Policy and come for film shooting in Gujarat. He said that Gujarat has now become a ‘Preferred Destination’ for film shooting and film production along with state tourism. He quoted many successful efforts made during then Chief Ministership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to promote tourism and film shooting in the state. CM Patel added that through events like Filmfare Awards, promotion of tourism and culture, event management and new employment opportunities even in the transport sector will be created in the state.
