Govinda is fine and has been moved to an ordinary ward, his family said on Wednesday, a day after the entertainer was harmed in the leg when his pistol unintentionally went off.
The 60-year-old entertainer went through a medical procedure on Tuesday and is recovering at a confidential clinic.
Sharing a wellbeing update with the journalists, Govinda’s little girl Tina Ahuja said the family is expecting his fast release from the emergency clinic.
“Father is improving, God has been exceptionally kind. If it’s not too much trouble, keep him in your requests. He has been moved from the ICU to the ordinary ward; everything is great at this point. He’s solid and cheerful. If it’s not too much trouble, keep petitioning God for him. He will be released very soon. He’s been given dribbles and anti-infection agents, and we’re expecting a quick release,” Tina said.
