Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today inaugurated India’s first ‘Global Fisheries Conference India 2023’. It was organized by Department of Fisheries, Central Government at Science City, Ahmedabad on the occasion of World Fisheries Day.
Chief Minister Patel announced the ‘Ghol’ fish as the ‘State Fish’ of Gujarat in the ceremony organized in the presence of Union Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Minister Parshottam Rupala, Union and State Ministers, other dignitaries and leaders of the fisheries sector from India and abroad.
