Distribution of free food grains has been started in more than 22000 ration shops across Gujarat with about 800 ration shops in Ahmedabad city from today under the Prime Minister’s Welfare Scheme for the month of May-June.
Distribution of free food grains along with the fixed rates of State Government and also monthly supply of food grains from ration shops under public distribution system was started as per routine.
Police staff has been deployed at ration shop to avoid unwanted rush.
