Today Former Prime Minister of India Dr Manmohan Singh passed away on at the age of 92 in Delhi. The Congress veteran leader was admitted to AIIMS Delhi in a critical condition on Thursday evening after his health deteriorated. Singh retired from the Rajya Sabha earlier this year — ending a 33 year stint within the Upper House of Parliament.
According to information from hospital the former politician had passed away amid treatment for “age-related medical conditions” on Thursday night. Political leaders across party lines — including JP Nadda and Priyanka Gandhi —rushed to the hospital on getting the news.
