Former Gandhinagar district collector and retired IAS officer SK Langa has been arrested by the Gandhinagar Police from Gujarat-Rajasthan border related to corruption case. He was booked about two months ago by Sector-7 police station of Gandhinagar. Langa has allegations regarding irregularities in land matters worth Rs100 crores during and during his tenure as Gandhinagar district collector.
According to Police he is arrested for alleged criminal misconduct, corruption and causing financial loss to the state government.
Five days of remand has given by court for investigating in Langa corruption case.
