Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Shazia Ilmi will campaign for the BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections to be held on February 7. Shazia Imli had resigned from AAP last year saying there was lack of democracy within the party.
“There is lack of inner party democracy within the Aam Aadmi Party. The party which talks about `Swaraj` has failed to apply it within the party,” Ilmi had said. She had recently joined Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s pet Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, raising speculations of her joining the saffron party.
