Today in Ahmedabad city, 5 people were arrested in Naroda area in connection with food scam of food grains supplied for rationing shop. 5 people were arrested out of 7 people by Naroda police.
A truck carrying 16,000 kg of food grains was seized at GIDC Naroda unloading food meant for rationing shop in a private godown.
The truck left from Ghoda Camp road Shahibag and directly went to GIDC Naroda for unloading the stock of food grain in a private godown.
ACB on a tip followed the truck and informed police about the illegal food scam.
