Today in Ahmedabad city, five bridge over Sabarmati river were closed down to prevent from Covid-19 transmission from one part of city to other.

Five bridge namely Gandhi bridge, Dadhichi bridge, Ambedkar bridge, Nehru bridge and Sardar bridge were closed down fo vehicular and public movement.
Government officials and pass holders will be able to commute on Subhash and Ellis bridge.
Today Maninagar and Gomtipur areas were added in containment zones of the city. Ward wise AMC Officers appointed in containment zones.
There are total 5054 Covid-19 cases in Gujarat and 3543 in Ahmedabad as per Gujarat government source.
