Fire reported in ISRO Centre at SAC Ahmedabad
Today afternoon in Ahmedabad, incident of Fire was reported in ISRO center at Space Applications Centre campus.
Fire was reported around 1:30 pm.
Fire in SAC campus was seen from the nearby buildings in Ramdevnagar, Jodhpur, Vastrapur and SG Highway.
25 fire fighters and 5 ambulances reached the site. A brigade call was declared by Fire team.
Team of AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner, Satellite police and FSL Forensic Laboratory was at SAC.
Fire in building no 37 A of SAC campus. Team of CISF personnel was at the site. No casualty were reported from the site. 1 CISF staff was taken to hospital where his condition is said to be stable as per AMC Commissioner.
Reason of fire is attributed ufoam used at building no 37. Fire was reported on ground and first floor of 37 building.
Ahmedabad Collector said that fire was not very big but SAC campus is a prohibited location.
3 more CISF personnal are said to be affected of fire.
Of late, fire has been extinguished at SAC.
In the evening Official Press Release was issued by SAC management to media.
