Bollywood movie Toofan team including actor Paresh Rawal, Farhan Akhtar, Mrunal Thakur and Rakesh Omprakash Mehra had a virtual city tour with Ahmedabad before launch of Toofan on Amazon Prime Video. In the first virtual tour of its kind, they were interacting with media, fans as well as various heroes.
Talking about his first virtual city visit to Toofan, Farhan Akhtar, lead actor and co-producer of the film, said that Gujarat, like other states in India, is a land of rich culture and inspiring stories. It is home to some of the greatest athletes in the country and makes us proud of their contributions. As a producer and actor, I am happy to have the opportunity to discuss with the local media in Ahmedabad, which has enabled me to inform them about the powerful and inspiring story of Toofan. It is a pleasure to see the love and cooperation I have received from Gujarat over all the years, ”he said. I have undergone 8 to 9 months of rigorous physical training and am mentally equipped for this role. The role is very close to my heart.
The movie presented by Amazon Prime Video with Axel Entertainment and ROMP Pictures is an inspiring sports drama produced by Riteish Sidhwani, Rakesh Omprakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video from July 16, 2021 in 240 countries and territories.
