Ahmedabad, November 27, 2024: Prin MC Shah Commerce College, which is part of the Navgujarat Group of Colleges commemorated Constitution Day with a faculty talk at its college campus on Tuesday. The event, which began at 11.30am, saw 15 faculty members coming together to honour the making and adoption of the Indian Constitution on November 26, 1949.
Principal Dr ND Shah addressed the gathering, talking about the significance of the Constitution as the cornerstone of India’s democracy. After paying his tribute to Dr BR Ambedkar, the architect of the Indian Constitution, he encouraged faculty members to inspire students to uphold the values of the constitution in everyday life. As part of the session, all the participants took a collective pledge to honour and maintain the dignity of the Constitution and foster unity among students.
The discussions by faculty members also focused on the relevance of the Constitution in shaping a progressive and inclusive India. Participants expressed pride in their national identity and resolved to promote the ideals of a ‘United India’ within their classrooms, aiming to instil responsibility and constitutional awareness in students.
