In Ahmedabad city there has been a gradual decline in the number of new Covid-19. Still city is witnessing an increase in the Micro Containment Zone. Eight societies / areas / pols of Ahmedabad are included in micro containment zone. Four areas / societies / houses are exempted from micro containment zone. Thus, 172 micro containment zones have been included in the city.
A number of steps have been taken by the AMC Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation to prevent the transmission of Coron virus in the city. The meeting was chaired by Additional Chief Secretary Dr Rajiv Kumar Gupta and was attended by Commissioner Mukesh Kumar and Deputy Commissioners of the Zone and Health Officers. The meeting was discussed in detail on the Covid-19 crisis. Reviewed the city’s previous contingent zone area and current status. After elaborate discussion, it was decided to include 8 more micro containment zones in the city.
Total 172 micro containment zones have been added in the city. Till now, 4 areas are exempted from micro containment zone.
As on yesterday evening, 872 New cases of Covid-19 in last 24 hours and 10 deaths in Gujarat.
