In parts of Gujarat, comprehensive protest was made by druggists and pharmacists against government policy of online sell of medicine and E-Pharmacy.
Today in Ahmedabad, Medical shops outside Asarwa Civil hospital remained closed to show protest against Online sell of medicines and E-pharmacy. As a mark of support in Vadodara, 1,700 Medical shops in Karjan to remain closed today in protest. The protest was made by wearing black ribbon by Vadodara Druggist Association. They were carrying banners and shouted slogans against government.
In Vadodara, medical stores to cater to emergency need have been kept open.
In Bharuch, druggists and pharmacists registered progress by taking out rally at Collector Office.
In Vadodara Druggists said that with online sell of medicine drugs used by youth and medicine of pregnancy abortion will be freely available in market without control of any medical authority.
