Gujarat government has announced Diwali gifts for state government employees. Announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel on behalf of the state government. Government has announced a bonus of Rs 3,500 for a Class-IV employees. Apart from this, the government has also announced to pay arrears 3 months dearness allowance. The amount will be credited to employees’ bank account just before Diwali.
The Deputy Chief Minister further added that this would benefit state government employees, panchayat employees, employees of colleges affiliated to university, employees of non-government schools and colleges and total 30,960 employees of class-IV grant-in-aid institutions.
