Dimple Yadav Samajwadi Party MP slams at Modi government for “shabby handling” of cash crunch unleashed due to demonetisation, landing the farmers and the poor in a soup. Blaming the Centre of lack of readiness to deal with the situation particularly in the rural areas, she said the government must ensure relief to farmers and poor at the earliest.
She said our party is for action against black money but the way the crisis is being handled is not proper. Situation in rural areas is bad and needs urgent attention. 70% of the country’s population lives in villages and most part of them has no access to the banking system, what will they do, said Dimple while taking to media in Delhi where she was to attend the ongoing winter session of Parliament session. Even in urban areas, people like daily casual laborers and street hwakers are facing problems due to the present crisis of currency notes and government should address their grievances immediately. Farmers have to buy seeds and fertilizers and arrangements are not enough to help them go ahead with their plans as the sowing season is underway.
